Mount Kigali university Rwanda holds discussion with UAE Ambassador in Rwanda Hazza Mohammad Falah Kharsan Alqahtan. Discussion was with the aim of youth empowerment and Development initiatives,  and the opportunities students will get in the partnership between Mount Kigali University Rwanda and UAE.

Through his speech UAE A ambassador revels that youth are the leaders to sustainable development, the goverment fully believes to empowered youth, innovate and contribute to the walfare of the community.In UAE 75 percent of employees are youth, they play a role in the financial growth of UAE and in achieving sustainable, economic development of the country.

UAE Youth empowering mission is to meet youth whether they are studying, or working to lift them where they are going through that UAE has lounched advanced and diverse training programms, that contribute significantly to prepare young people for future challanges and achieving sustainable development. The goverment is persuing unique approach to represent, engage and empower youth by creating a bridge between youth and Decision makers.

In June,2019 United Arab government and Rwanda signed the agreement to fascinate labor, mobility between Rwanda and United Arab emirates allowing skills for youth to access job opportunities in the united arab emirates through exchange of workforce, as well as transfer of skills and knowledge. Mount Kigali University students have been told to take these oppotunities and apply for jobs and also internerships in UAE, many companies are ready to offer jobs to Rwandans. 

Students at Mount Kigali university students got a chance to present their projects, one project was about Greener tomorrow a project to fight against climate change focusing on waste management as one of the problem to climate change, the other project was about smart home which is about having house with AI and through this people can be able to command the building what to do. 

UAE ambassador told Mount Kigali University Students that it is up to them to to take advantange to the Empowerment initiatives discussed and also have been implemented by government of Rwanda and also adviced the University to implement them at the university and UAE is looking foward to work with them to reach greater heights.
