Health insurance in Rwanda

Living is all about living health life and from that you you need to have health insurance protecting you from unexpected, high medical costs.You pay less for covered in network health care, even before you meet your deductible.You get free preventive care, like vaccines, screening, and some check ups, even before you meet deductible. and through that Rwanda has made substantial gains in the health and welfare of its population over a relatively short period of time, including stand-out achievements on the Millennium Development Goals, Universal access to equitable and affordable quality health services for all Rwandans is the overall aim of the Government of Rwanda’s Health Sector Policy.

The Mutuelles de Santé/Community-Based Health Insurance (CBHI) scheme was developed by Rwanda Social Security Board(RSSB) to meet the needs of Rwandans outside of the formal sector, where access to and utilization of healthcare services had been historically very low, CBHI has been solution to rwandan citizen who can not afford other health insurance like Prime insurance and Britam insurance and other governmental insurance MMI for military and RAMA  which is for employees of public and private sector etc...

Rwanda's achievements in healthcare, including its progress towards meeting the Millennium Development Goals, serve as a testament to the government's commitment to improving the overall health and well-being of its citizens. By prioritizing preventive care, investing in infrastructure and human resources, and implementing inclusive health policies, Rwanda has set a positive example for other countries striving to achieve universal health coverage and promote sustainable development.
